The fast-growing, deciduous moringa tree can reach 10 to 12 meters (33 to 39 feet) tall with a trunk diameter of 45 centimeters (18 inches).

Moringa trees adapt to a wide variety of soils and can survive in poor soils if needed. However, it grows best in well-drained, sandy soil. The plant is sensitive to root rot and will not grow in over-compacted or over-watered soil.

You should water your moringa once in a week.

Moringa needs at least 6 hours of sunlight each day but prefers full sun conditions year-round. A subtropical beauty, she thrives best in zones 9-10 of the United States as she is accustomed to warm climate conditions.

An ideal soil mix consists of 75% garden soil, 15% sand, and 10% organic fertilizer. It provides air to the soil and supports healthy plant growth. Be sure to use or make good-quality potting soil. Make sure it’s well-drained and has enough material to keep the tree firmly in place.
