Good questions
It is our easiest way in: one live sapling, one flowering bulb and five winter-friendly seed varieties in a single pack. Everything is chosen to grow together through the cool months, so you do not have to work out what goes with what. The exact contents and count are listed on the product page.
As soon as the nights turn cool. Across most of India that is roughly October to December, and seeds sown early in that window get the longest growing run. If you are starting later, bulbs and leafy greens are the most forgiving.
The Winter Plants section above shows what we recommend this season — saplings that handle cool air and lower light well, from flowering kalanchoe to rosemary and golden cypress. Each product page carries its own care notes.
Cool weather suits leafy greens like spinach and lettuce, roots like carrot, radish and beetroot, and herbs such as coriander and methi. Use the filters in the vegetable section to see each group on its own.
Winter is the season for petunia, alyssum, carnation, phlox, daisy, larkspur, calendula, dianthus and aster. All of them are in the Winter Flower Seeds section, with the seed count shown in each product name.
Yes. If you have never grown anything before, start with the Winter Starter Pack — it removes the guesswork. Otherwise seeds are the most forgiving place to begin, since a packet gives you several tries.
Most winter growing needs less water than summer, so let the topsoil dry between waterings and keep pots where they get a few hours of direct morning sun. Sowing depth and spacing differ by variety, so follow the instructions on each product page.
