Description
The Football Lily (also known as Blood Lily) is a unique flowering plant known for its large, globe-shaped red blooms. It grows from a bulb and blooms in late spring or early summer, adding vibrant color to any garden. It is cherished for its ornamental value and is often grown in pots or garden beds. HOW TO PLANT A BULB
- Select a well-draining pot or garden spot with sufficient space for the bulb to grow.
- Make a hole in the soil, 2–3 inches deep.
- Place the bulb pointed side up in the hole.
- Cover with soil and water lightly.
- Avoid overwatering until the plant starts to sprout.
