Sawdust (or wood dust) is a by-product or waste product of woodworking operations such as sawing, sanding, milling, planing, and routing. It is composed of small chippings of wood.
BENEFITS
It can be used in broadcasting small seeds as a filler. Adding small amounts of sawdust to your soil will enhance organic matter and improve the surface. Helps to prevent weeds from popping through or even spreading on the walkway. Sawdust can make a decent thriving medium for mushrooms.
