5. Feed - Sweetcorn is a heavy feeder, make sure you fertilize the plants with a balanced fertilizer that is high in nitrogen, regularly. Add fertilizer when the plants are about 6 inches tall. Repeat a few weeks later.
6. Watering - Sweetcorn needs a good amount of moisture throughout the growing season. Water deeply once a week. Water more often if the weather is hot and dry. Try to avoid getting water on the leaves, as this can invite diseases and make the plant sick.

HOW TO GROW SWEET CORN FROM SEEDS

1. Take a Medium Size Pot and add a Potting Mix.
2. Make ½ inch deep holes and put 1 seed in each hole.
3. Fill the hole with Potting Mix and spray with water using a spray gun or spray bottle.
4. Keep the soil moist, not soggy.
5. Seeds will germinate within a week.
6. Full sunlight is needed.

ALTERNATE METHOD

1. If planting in the soil add Neem Cake Powder, Vermicompost, and Seaweed.
2. Take a Seedling Tray and fill it with Cocopeat. Sow the seeds in it and re-pot in 2 weeks after sowing.
