Select a room with bright, indirect sunlight. Keep at a temperature of between 70 and 80 °F (21-27 °C). At night, a little lower is acceptable. The orchid has to be potted in a growth medium for orchids.

Humid climates are ideal for bringing orchids outside. Phalaenopsis likes air with a humidity of 55-75%. The wetter the climate, the longer the plants can stay outdoors. If you live in a dry climate and want to keep the plant outdoors, limit the time to no more than an hour.
