HOW TO PLANT A SAPLING
  1. Take a sapling along with the net pot and choose the appropriate size of the container for your plant.
  2. Seal the holes of the pot at the bottom.
  3. Pour potting soil more than half of the size of the pot.
  4. Then make a hole with your finger in the center of the potting soil and place your sapling along with the net pot.
  5. Cover it with soil again and water thoroughly.

Kaner is an evergreen tropical shrub or small tree. The leaves are willow-like linear lanceolate and glossy green. They are covered with a waxy coating (typical of oleanders) to reduce water loss. Stems are green, turning silvery gray with age. 

Seeds of Kaner contain highly toxic cardiac glycosides such as thevetin A, B and neriifolin. 

Kaneir or Kaner (कनेर) is commonly known as Cascabela thevetia  in English.

To propagate Cascabela thevetia, choose cuttings that do not flower. Select 10 to 12 cm scissors and soak the tips in the rooting hormone. Use regular potting soil for rooting and place in a warm place with plenty of sun. 

Thevetia Peruviana needs at least 6 hours of sunlight and warm conditions in winter. It needs to be watered 2-3 times a week until it takes root. It works best in moist, well-drained soil. Trimmed to maintain the desired shape.
