Basil plants can grow to varying heights, typically ranging from 12 to 24 inches (30 to 60 cm) tall, depending on the specific variety and growing conditions.

Basil is relatively easy to grow, making it a popular choice for home gardens. It’s suitable for both beginner and experienced gardeners.

Basil thrives in well-draining, fertile soil with good moisture retention. A loamy or sandy soil enriched with organic matter is ideal.

Basil requires plenty of sunlight. It does best in full sun, receiving at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight per day.

Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and adjust based on weather conditions. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root problems.
