The curry leaf tree is a fast-growing deciduous shrub with deep roots and fragrant leaves. It can be grown in pots or outdoors.

Curry leaves may develop yellow veins (chlorosis) on the leaves in winter. Cold temperatures seem to be the main cause of this leaf problem. It often indicates that the plant is preparing to enter dormancy.
