Papaya is planted between February and March(spring), June and July (monsoon), and also between October and November (autumn).

This happens due to the spontaneous abortion of unpollinated female flowers, resulting in no fruit.

Papaya can be grown in pots. A pot that is approximately 18-22 inches in diameter and 14-16 inches deep will suffice.
